Differences between a Cloned and a Recovered cartridge

This is the way we usually act when a printer does not work well regardless of the fault or error message it has and we observe that it has a non-original cartridge placed inside.

This is the cartridge !!! Right away we say that it is of poor quality, that it is very dirty, that it spills ink, that the printing is defective and of course when we ask someone we know, the general recommendation is that we change the cartridge immediately for an original. What is true in all this?.

Well, the truth is that we have some reason, the main problem and the one that is palpable in the environment is that any non-Original consumable is bad and that is not true. The first and most important thing is to know how to differentiate a “cloned” cartridge from a “recycled” one.

There are manufacturers like Emstar that are distinguished by applying their technology and innovation to recovered cartridges. Cloned cartridges that have nothing to do with recycled ones.

Differences between a Cloned and a Recovered cartridge

Cloned Cartridge = Chinese compatible, poor quality.
These are created by hundreds of Asian factories with different names. The quality of the plastic of the casing is deficient “Cheap plastic” not complying with the European environmental standards, this type of casing is not recoverable due to its poor quality, these are destroyed / burned emitting toxic gases.

The management of plastic waste is the highest priority for citizens and world authorities.

Toner powder also does not meet quality standards, being its residual particles more volatile and intoxifying allergens.

Parameter LGA-tested for contaminants threshold   Universal Toner

Substances classified in Appendix VI of EU Regulation No. 1272/2008 (GHS) as inhalant allergens (Cat. 1) and skin allergens (Cat. 1) and acc. TRGS 907 or MAK and  BAT Value List as sensitizing each ≤ 40 mg/kg (total)   0,4 mg/kg 2,5 mg/kg

Cheap toners exceed quality toner values by 3.5 to 7 times!

The only selling tool is its price, but … is it worth it?

Recovered = Toner Refurbished.

The use of recycled toners helps to conserve our environment due to the fact that empty and remanufactured containers are used, which inhibits the consumption of millions of liters of oil for the creation of the plastic of toners.

The recovered cartridge depends 100% on the original cartridge, this is completely disassembled, goes through cleaning processes, the worn parts are replaced and it is refilled with toner powder.

Constant innovation, technologically studied to increase the size of the hopper and produce more copies than the OEM toner in the same housing, at a price of -40% – 60% below the price of the Original.

Environmental quality and respect for the health of users guaranteed by the most important accreditation bodies such as the Blue Angel (Germany), the Nordic Ecolabel (Scandinavia) or the Umweltzeitchen (Austria). All of them recognized by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP).
